Discover Nature
Connecting Kids to Nature's Wonders

Our Mission Statement
SEEK Carolina is a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering a deep appreciation for nature among young learners in our community. Serving children through high school, we provide engaging educational experiences that connect students with the natural world.
Our mission is to inspire curiosity and stewardship through hands-on learning, field trips, outdoor adventure activities, and community service projects. Whether exploring local ecosystems, engaging in scientific discovery and education, participating in conservation efforts, or embarking on exciting outdoor adventures, our programs encourage students to develop a lifelong connection with nature.
By creating meaningful opportunities for exploration and service, SEEK Carolina helps young people build confidence and a sense of responsibility for the world around them. Through our work, we aim to cultivate future generations of leaders and nature enthusiasts.
Union County Homeschool Envirothon
Our conservative, Christian group of families meets several times a month in downtown Monroe to study the 5 main topics of Envirothon - Wildlife, Aquatics, Forestry, Soil, and Current Environmental Issues (CEI). Through interactive lessons, hands-on experiments, student presentations, field trips, and collaborative study, homeschool youth gain an appreciation for the complexity of the natural world.
